Projects projects and more projects!

I have just been a busy little bee trying to get a few samples made for my open house next week and I also came up with the card that I am going to do for our card swap group. Our challenge for the month is to make a card that isn't a rectangle, so this is what I cam eup with-oh and the theme is birthday. I saw a card on another site that was simalar, so I just modified and made it mine!

Then as I was making that one the big shot die that I used sort of reminded me of a big cowboy belt buckle so I made this little quickie

And I loved the plate that I made for my mom so much that I made another one to display at my open house. Maybe if people like them I will do a class-

And finally-I made a little bookmark that is similar to those we made at convention this year, but I just used different colors and designer series paper-I think this will be one of my open house projects-nice and simple.

Hello...Can you hear me now?

Wow! It's been a while since I posted-if anyone is checking, so here are a few projects I have done lately.
I made this for my mom as a gift. She celebrated her 25th anniversary at her office! 25 years! Can you believe that! So I made her a little desk accessory using a glass plate, a plate stand and then just decorated one of the carousel notes. I might make these into Christmas gifts and have themes for throughout the year that can be displayed like Christmas, Easter, summer, etc. We shall see!

This was another carousel note I used to make a little thank you card for my rockin' friend Lacey-she's the best! She definately spoiled me on my birthday! And she made the CUTEST card for me, so I had to try and make a cute one for her!

And here is my card for tonights girls night out card swap. I guess I really love scalloped edges these days-can you tell? It's not a carousel note, but it is my first attempt at the BIG SHOT by Sizzix that Stampin' Up! Now carries-don't you love it! I think that I am in love! The theme for our cards this month was general and the challenge was to use our birthstone color, so I used certainly celery to match up with peridot. FUN!
